Whether display is part of a full stand or shipped standalone to somebody else's build, these eight apply.
Weights, dimensions and how close visitors need to get. This is the brief, and it comes before any drawing.
Plinth, case, podium or wall drawn for the specific objects rather than selected from a catalogue.
Where exhibits are heavy, base spread checked against the venue’s published floor loading limit.
Built and finished to the same standard as the stand around it, in venue-compliant materials.
Edge-lit shelving, internal case lighting or track spots aimed at the object rather than the room.
Locks on cases holding high-value product, and sightlines that keep display within view of your staff.
Cases and plinths crated for repeat handling, delivered to your stand position on the build-up date.
Shipped to a stand built by someone else, with fixing details their contractor can work to.
A stand contractor is easy to judge on one job. These clients judged us and booked the next one — across different countries, venues and build regulations
Where display is supplied standalone the schedule is shorter, because there is no stand structure on the critical path. The stages themselves do not change.
Each of these started as a blank floor plan. Photographs are from the show floor, not renders.
Five factors. The first two are structural and the last three are where display quality is actually decided.
| Variable | What it changes | How to reduce it |
|---|---|---|
| Exhibit weight | Heavy objects need engineered load-spreading bases rather than decorative boxes, and sometimes floor-level placement. | Send weights and base dimensions at briefing. It changes the design, not the finish. |
| Enclosure | A case costs several times a plinth — glass, hardware, internal lighting and locks all add. | Enclose what is small, valuable or fragile. Leave the rest open. |
| Integrated lighting | Edge-lit shelving and internal case lighting are the largest visible improvement per rupee on display work. | Never the item to cut. Reduce unit count before reducing light. |
| Finish level | Sprayed and veneered surfaces cost several times a laminate face for the same box. | Spend on the units nearest the aisle. The rear ones are rarely photographed. |
| Standalone or integrated | Display shipped to someone else's stand needs its own crating and fixing details for their contractor. | Tell us early if it is standalone. It changes the crate spec, not the unit. |
Yes, and it is a normal order. Plinths, cases and slab walls built here and shipped to a stand somebody else is constructing.
What we need is the stand design or at least the floor plan and wall construction, because fixing details have to work with what the other contractor is building. A slab wall bolted to a partition that cannot carry it is a serious problem discovered at the worst possible moment.
We supply fixing drawings the other contractor can work to, and crate the units for delivery to your stand position on the build-up date rather than to a depot. Beyond that the coordination is theirs, and we will say plainly where our responsibility ends.
Everything exhibitors ask us before they commit — including the questions where the honest answer is that we are not the right supplier for you.

Yes. Plan display arrangements can be based on booth space, product mix, branding, arrangement, and desired finish. The specific method is reliant on the exhibition requirement.
A plinth or podium is handy when it is desired that a product, object, or featured sample has its own focal point within an exhibition booth or product presentation area.
A display vitrine or exhibition display case forms a more specific display of items or objects which would be advantageous to have displayed with a focused visual display.
Yes. Exhibits Expo creates display systems used with tile, ceramic and stone products, including layouts that can be used to display collections and larger slabs.
