What a custom stall design

actually gets you

Design is not one render emailed over. These eight deliverables are what a complete custom exhibition stall design package contains, and all of them are inside the figure you approve.

01

3D concept renders

Two or three angles including the view a visitor gets walking up the aisle — the one that matters.

02

Floor plan to scale

Circulation, meeting zones, storage and counter positions drawn against your actual booked footprint.

03

Elevations

Every wall drawn flat, so you can see exactly where graphics, shelving and screens sit.

04

Two revision rounds

Included and expected. Most concepts change meaningfully between the first and second version.

05

Material & finish schedule

What everything is made of, checked against your venue's fire regulations before production starts.

06

Lighting & power layout

Fixture positions and load in kW, so the organiser's power order matches what the stall needs.

07

Graphics artwork plan

Panel sizes, bleed and file specs sent to your design team early, not the week before print.

08

All-in costing

Design, build, graphics, freight, installation and dismantling as one figure you can take to finance.

From brief to

built stall.

Design occupies the first three weeks. Everything after that is production and logistics, planned backwards from the morning the hall opens.

Weeks 1–2

Concept

3D renders, floor plan and an all-in cost band from your brief. Free, with two revision rounds.
Week 3

Approval

Design freeze and contract. After this, changes affect cost and schedule and we tell you by how much.
Weeks 4–7

Manufacture

Production drawings, fabrication, and organiser submissions filed in parallel rather than afterwards.
Weeks 6–8

Pre-build

Graphics applied, whole stand assembled and tested in production. You get photographs before it is packed.
Weeks 9–11

Ship

Crated, freight booked, carnet raised, customs cleared, delivered on your build-up date.
Build-up

Install

Supervisor on site with a local crew. Tested, handed over, then dismantled on the organiser's schedule.

Custom stall

design cost

Five variables decide almost all of it. We will not publish a rate per square metre because it would mislead you — a modular 18 sqm inline stall and a custom 100 sqm island are an order of magnitude apart. These are the levers, and you get a real band once we know your show.

Variable What it changes How to reduce it
Floor area The largest single driver. Material, labour and freight all scale with square metres. Fixed once you book the space. Design efficiency matters more than size at this point.
Open sides An island open on four sides needs finished surfaces everywhere. An inline stand has three walls doing the work. Also fixed by your booking, but it changes what the design has to solve.
Custom or modular Custom is built once. Modular is reconfigured across shows and pays back from the second outing. Choose modular if you exhibit three or more times a year.
Distance & freight mode Sea freight is far cheaper than air but needs roughly three weeks more in the schedule. Start earlier. Time is the cheapest way to reduce freight cost.
Timeline Compressed schedules force air freight, overtime in production and premium labour rates. Ten to twelve weeks for an overseas build. Four to six within India or the UAE.

How long does the design stage take?

First concept within 48 hours of a clear brief. Two revision rounds and a signed-off design typically inside three weeks.

The design stage is rarely what delays a project. What delays projects is the brief arriving in pieces, artwork landing late, or an organiser submission deadline nobody noticed. All three are avoidable, and the schedule we send you names the dates for each.

After design freeze, allow ten to twelve weeks for an overseas build or four to six within India and the UAE. If your show is closer than that, say so anyway — we will tell you honestly whether it is deliverable rather than take the booking and hope.

(FAQs) Frequently Asked

Questions

Everything exhibitors ask us before they commit — including the questions where the honest answer is that we are not the right supplier for you.

Although the terms can be used interchangeably, a stall is traditionally a shorter and minimalist exhibition area, a booth is a more organized, branded environment featuring specific design features.

The term exhibition stall meaning is used to refer to the space and a simple frame that is offered to an exhibitor at a location, which may be later extended to suit the branding and design-related needs.

The cost of custom stall design depends on different factors such as size, material, branding complexity and whether the stall is constructed as a modular structure or a completely custom design.

The distinction between stall and booth can be reduced to structure and level of customization, so the pricing can be different accordingly, a simple stall will be cheaper than a fully branded, custom-built booth.

Yes, knowing the stall meaning of the exhibitions can enable the exhibitors to plan better as they know what is included in the basic space and what will be considered as a part of the extra customization and cost.
