We do not outsource to a third-party press and hope that the colours will match on the delivery day at the Exhibits Expo. We manufacture print material and graphics in-house. Being a full Exhibition Graphics And Printing Service In Maastricht, we manage the whole chain, i.e., design, print, lamination & mounting, and hence what we approve on the screen is what appears on your stand.

The reason it is important that it is controlled:

  • Maastricht's exhibition season runs almost continuously, with venues like Pragati Maidan and India Expo Centre booked through most of the 2016, leaving little room for reprint delays.
  • Colour accuracy and finish quality often make or break how a stand reads from ten feet away, not just up close.
  • Owning production in-house means last-minute design tweaks don't cost a full day of turnaround

Who We Are: Exhibits Expo's In-House Print & Branding Studio

We did not begin as a printing press, which subsequently took up exhibition work – we began erecting exhibition stalls and soon realised that most fabricators had lost control of quality the minute the graphic left their workshop. We made our own studio instead.

What such a studio is now:

  • Large-scale printers, lamination lines and a design crew based in the same building as our fabrication shop.
  • Colour-matching is done on samples of physical material, not on previews only.
  • A production team that knows the behaviour of graphics when attached to curved panels, backlit walls or fabric tension frames, not a flat digital mockup.

Exhibition Graphic Design: Where Concept Meets Print-Ready Precision

The art of exhibition graphic design is not a logo inflated to occupy a panel – it is layout, hierarchy and colour selections designed with how people look at a stand when passing by it in three seconds.

We design exhibition stands graphics including:

  • Hierarchy in wayfinding and messaging so that the visitor is not told to go to a certain place without a hint of where to begin.
  • Booth graphic design was responsive to lighting conditions, as different colours were read under warm exhibition lighting than on a monitor.
  • File preparation to print specification and not to scale and resolution problems that manifest themselves when late designs are passed over.

Our graphic design exhibition briefs do not begin on a blank canvas but on the structural drawings of the stand; hence, the resulting work of art is actually in the space that it is constructed into.

Exhibition Signage: Guiding Footfall Without Saying a Word

Signage accomplishes one thing that most exhibitors do not take seriously; it directs visitors on where to go prior to their first dialogue with your staff. Poor exhibition signage is the inability to notice a stand even to know what it is.

Our exhibition signage design work typically includes:

  • Exhibition lettering, found in entries, and branding in large dimensions that are legible at one end of a hall.
  • Directional and informational exhibit signage is of adequate size to be viewed at a distance.
  • Trade show signage constructed to withstand days of use, foot traffic, and lighting systems in place at venues without fading or peeling.

We check the Maastricht of signage with the real movement of the stand and not just the size based on a floor plan.

Exhibition Printing Company in Maastricht: Production Quality You Can Actually Inspect

There are various vendors who will be posing as an exhibition printing company in Maastricht and quietly subcontract the actual print job to other locations. We print everything by ourselves, and this implies that clients can see a preview of the print drawn directly off our machines prior to large-scale production.

What that in-house process protects:

  • Printing of exhibits is compared to Pantone standards, not colour assayed on screen.
  • Exhibition stand printing is synchronised to the fabrication timeline; graphics and structure are received at the venue at the same time.
  • Booth printing services that include small signage, full backdrop walls, and anything in between without the need of dividing the order into several printers outside the company.

Having production under a single roof in Maastricht also implies quicker reprints in case the client wishes to make a last-minute adjustment after viewing the actual proof.

Banner & Large Format Printing: Big Formats, Zero Guesswork

Big graphics are unsparing of small details; a slight change of colour or a faded picture hardly to be seen on a little proof will be clearly plain when it is thrown on a ten-foot background.

Our large format printing exhibition capability covers:

  • Printing of exhibition banners on arches at the entrance, hanging banners, and free-standing pull-ups.
  • Applications: Fabric printing exhibition stands that are popular due to tension-fabric walls and lightweight, foldable structures.
  • Illuminated walls, backlit panel printing Backlit panel printing is used to light up walls on which colour and clarity are required even with the light going through the medium.
  • Print vinyl exhibit graphics used on flooring, wall wraps, and signage that is durable and has to face outdoors.

All formats call on various combinations of ink and materials, and we select the appropriate combination to suit the desired lighting and mounting environment, instead of just defaulting to one print stock.

Design Process: From Concept Boards to Print-Ready Files

All graphics projects are carried through a systematic cycle before they even get to a printer, where the majority of quality problems are identified early rather than when production is already underway.

The stages we follow:

  • Concept boards are checked on the brand and structure of the stands and modified prior to commencement of detailed artwork.
  • Mock-ups on the real 3D stand model; therefore, clients view graphics in context, not in isolation as a flat file.
  • Bleed, resolution, and colour profile accuracy pre-press checks, as even a file that appears perfect onscreen can still print incorrectly without this pre-press check.

Such a sequence can add one or two days or two, but it regularly saves much more time by preventing reprints after the production process has begun.

Exhibition Branding Agency in Maastricht: Building an Identity, Not Just Decorating a Stand

Signage and graphics can only work in the same direction, and this is where collaborating with an exhibition branding agency in Maastricht and a standalone printer is a difference.

Our exhibition branding process ties together:

  • Branding of the exhibition stands in terms of structure, graphs, signage, and even the outfit or gifts of the staff; thus, the entire image is purposely created.
  • Booth branding services are not limited to the stand only but also include pre-show digital and on-site collateral.
  • Regular checks of all printed and structural items, discovering incompatible colours or fonts prior to install day instead of after.

The difference between a stand feeling premium and assembled is generally that branding is treated as a single system and not as individual line items.

Quality Control: How We Make Sure Colours Match Before Install

The most frequent – and most preventable – issues in exhibition printing are colour mismatches. A navy-like logo on a proof, but printing near black, destroys brand consistency within a stand.

We have quality checks such as:

  • Approval of physical proof of the material stock of the actual production before full-scale printing.
  • Consistency checks of batches whereby a job takes several print runs to prevent visible colour change among panels.
  • An end-of-line check of approved artwork prior to graphics leaving our plant, not merely prior to leaving the printer.

It is a time-consuming process of verification, but it is much less expensive than realising that there is a colour mismatch when a stand has been constructed at the site.

Turnaround & Delivery: Meeting Show Deadlines Without Panic

Exhibition deadlines are fixed even when a design is subjected to five sets of revisions. We schedule production based on that fact and not on optimistic schedules.

Our tight turnaround management:

  • Production slots are booked ahead of time when the build date of a stand is known, as opposed to being first-in-first-out.
  • Rush capacity was maintained to allow last-minute changes in artwork, without displacing other clients.
  • Show coordination with our crew to install; hence, graphics come to the scene at the moment they are needed to mount.

Such scheduling discipline is what avoids the tried and true graphics scramble of graphics coming in hours before the doors open.

Serving Exhibitors Across Maastricht

We have our print studio and design team centrally located such that we can serve exhibitors throughout the city of Maastricht without necessarily having to deal with delays caused by having to coordinate printing with a different city altogether. Local manufacture has a quicker approval of the proofs and can fix the same day should there be a last-minute alteration of the artwork.

We deliver to businesses in {Local_Hubs} as well as clients in all other areas of the city, and our spread has given us an idea of how to plan our delivery windows around the local traffic instead of regarding all jobs as equal irrespective of the starting point.

What a graphics

contract covers

Printing is one line of eight. The other seven are what stop a stand going up with the wrong colour on the fascia.

01

Panel schedule

Every printed surface listed with exact dimensions and bleed, issued to your designer at design freeze.

02

Artwork adaptation

Your brand assets rebuilt at stand scale. Screen artwork almost never survives being enlarged to four metres.

03

Print-ready preparation

Files checked for resolution, colour space, embedded fonts and bleed before anything reaches a machine.

04

Colour proofing

A physical proof on the actual media before the run. Screens lie, particularly about backlit colour.

05

Production printing

Fabric, vinyl, backlit and direct-to-substrate, chosen per surface rather than whatever is loaded.

06

Signage & lettering

Cut acrylic, built-up letters, illuminated signs and wayfinding, fabricated alongside the stand.

07

Application

Panels applied in production, checked side by side for colour drift between batches, then packed flat.

08

Spare panels

Critical graphics duplicated and shipped with the stand. A damaged fascia is not fixable on build-up morning.

Build-up [Us]

Panels fitted on site. Our supervisor carries the spares, because a damaged fascia cannot be reprinted in a foreign city overnight.
Week −3

Pre-build & spares [Us]

Graphics seen in place on the assembled stand, photographed for you, and spare panels produced for the critical surfaces.
Week −3

Print & apply [Us]

Week −4

Proof approval [you]

One working day. After this the run goes ahead, and changes mean reprinting rather than editing.
Week −4

Preflight & colour proof [Us]

Files checked for resolution, colour space, fonts and bleed. A physical proof on the actual media, particularly for backlit panels.
Week −5

Print-ready artwork due [You]

Fourteen days before dispatch. The single date most likely to slip, and the one that compresses everything after it.
Week −7

Artwork brief to your designer [You]

Your design team starts building at stand scale. This is the moment to raise anything that will not reproduce — not after the file is finished.
Week −10

Design freeze [Us]

Structure locked. We issue the panel schedule: every printed surface with exact dimensions, bleed, media and its own due date.

What drives a

graphics quotation.

Print is priced per square metre of media, but the square metres are not what makes two quotations differ. These five lines are.

Variable What it changes How to reduce it
Media choice Backlit film and certified flame-retardant substrates cost several times plain vinyl for the same area. Use premium media only where it is visible and lit. Back-of-house panels do not need it.
Artwork condition Print-ready files cost nothing to process. Files needing rebuilding at stand scale are design work, quoted as such. Give your designer the panel schedule early so files are built correctly the first time.
Number of panels Many small panels cost more than one large one of the same total area — setup, handling and application time. Consolidate at design stage where the structure allows it.
Reprints The most avoidable cost on any stand. A late artwork change after the run means paying twice. Approve the physical proof properly. That signature is what a reprint costs.
Schedule pressure Late artwork forces express print slots, overtime application and occasionally air freight for panels alone. Hit the week −5 artwork date. It is the cheapest thing on this list.

Can graphics be produced faster?

Yes, and it is the one part of a stand that genuinely can be compressed. Printing itself takes days rather than weeks, so late artwork is recoverable in a way that late fabrication is not.

What compression costs is the proof stage, which is exactly the stage you should not skip. Approving colour on a screen instead of on the actual media is how a fascia arrives the wrong shade of your brand blue, and by then the stand is in a crate.

If artwork is going to be late, tell us as soon as you know. There are real options — printing the structural panels on schedule and the graphics separately, or shipping panels by air while the stand goes by sea. Both cost money, and both are cheaper than a stand that opens with blank walls.
